Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Leda, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Leda is an AI-powered household assistant that helps you manage your calendar, grocery lists, meal plans, and household inventory. Leda uses large language models (currently Claude by Anthropic) to generate responses.

AI limitations: Leda can make mistakes. Do not rely on Leda for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. Always verify important information independently.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account equals one household membership. You may invite other people to join your household; all household members share access to household data.

Do not share your account with people outside your household. Each person should create their own account and be invited to join.

Leda offers a free tier (50 credits/month) and a paid Base plan ($4/month, 100 credits/month). Credits are consumed per AI interaction as described in the app. Monthly credits do not roll over.

Billing: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Credit packs are one-time purchases with no expiry.

Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 30 days.

iOS/Android purchases:Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): If you connect your own Anthropic API key, you are responsible for all usage and costs on that key. We are not responsible for charges incurred on your Anthropic account.

You agree not to:

• Use Leda to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Share your account or API credentials with people outside your household
• Use Leda to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

When you connect your Google account, Leda accesses your calendar and Gmail on your behalf using OAuth 2.0. This access is limited to what you grant and can be revoked at any time from Google's account settings or from within Leda. Leda does not read, store, or share the contents of your Gmail beyond what is needed to generate your daily digest or respond to explicit requests.

Leda's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You own all content you provide to Leda. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

AI-generated responses from Leda are provided as-is. We do not claim copyright over AI-generated outputs, but we also provide no warranty regarding their accuracy or fitness for any purpose.

Leda is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of AI responses, or availability of any particular feature. Your use of Leda is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Leda, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or service interruptions.

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Leda after that date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
